Nestled in a sandy cove in the prestigious marine conversation park of Koh Chong Island, at a stone’s throw from the Ban Bang Bao fishing village and its famous sea-food restaurants, the recently open Chivapuri Beach Resort is made of exquisitely designed traditional Thai houses doted in shady coconut grove opening out on the private, secluded beachfront. There, the unmatched scenic beauty of the seascape, with its variety of outlying islands composting the marine park, the balmy sea breeze, and the most serene environment seems to have been purposely designed to soothe body and spirit.
Along the 300-meter-long strand, the natural white sand beach offers a restful and shady ground in an idyllic setting. You can relax, unwind, enjoy the island’s flora and fauna, and let the tropical breezes blow gently without the hustle and bustle of the buzzing of jet skis, as silent sea kayaking is the only water sport available in addition to snorkeling. The only noises here dawn with a brief concert every morning.
A Thai-style house, wide overlooking unmatched ocean scenic beauty. Fully furnished room with double bed and teak wood furniture.

I wanted to find a private, more secluded place and beach to give me a chance to get grounded again. Chivapuri was just the perfect place for that. The fisherman's village of Bang Bao is just a 15-20 minute walk away. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a guided tour to mount Salakpeth and the road to Salakpeth is still damaged, so hiking there was not possible this time. The walk to Bhuvarin resort and back was totally worth it and had some really nice different views of Bang Bao and Konk Kloi beach. The staff is simply amazing and found a solution to every wish I had. They also managed to take care of the vegan meals I requested - and I could order special items only a vegan kitchen has and they would prepare my requested meals with them for me. I came as a stranger and left as a friend. I hope the staff felt the same way. Booking.comJosh Review on 17 Oct 2024
Secluded beach, quiet and peaceful ✌️ facilities i thought were very good, especially the pool. The rooms were very clean considering and the bed was very good. The room itself was very stylish and had a great vibe. The restaurant was ok. Scooters can be hired here and also further down towards town had to ask to find out. Handy to know as you are fairly far away from the town and its a sketchy hike at night or day. Booking.com
